- 2 cups peeled chopped tomatoes* *used as a substitute for tomato paste*
- fresh thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large onion diced
- 2 large carrots diced
- 2 celery stalks diced
- 6 Tablespoons Secolari Extra Virgin Olive Oil more for drizzling
- Secolari Wild Porcini Sea Salt
- freshly ground black pepper
